Eat Local Challenge – Eat local for the entire month of June in New Orleans with dozens of other participants
New Orleans Food and Farm Network – Contains information about growing in New Orleans and connects aspiring farmers with open lots
Southern Food and Beverage Museum and Culinary Library – non-profit organization that celebrates the food and drink of all cultures through exhibits, programming, and literature
Sankofa – A community development corporation that hosts a weekly mobile market, teaches youth healthy eating and nutrition, and employs teenagers to grow food for the market and community
Crescent City Farmers Market – A non-profit organization that hosts three markets a week in different areas of the city
Good Food Jobs – A national job site dedicated to connecting job seekers and employers in the sustainable food industry

The New Orleans Fruit Tree Project – A non-profit organization that was a community-driven solution to food insecurity. Volunteers harvested fruit from residential property and donated it to local organizations that fed those who were hungry

Parkway Partners – A non-profit organization that hosts garden-related workshops and assists citizens in maintaining greenspaces throughout the city.  Ended services and programs in 2019
